Through art, I explore our (human) relationships to the self, to others,
to the natural world—the poetry of place and time. To these abstract geographical/ topographic paintings, I add whole or partial, perhaps blocked, pathways, derived from the GPS tracks of my walking, biking, hiking trails, giving the pieces a map-like feel. My art is intimate and personal. It reflects both interior and exterior sensations, like palimpsests just under the skin, collected during my wanderings. When looking at my work, perhaps you will feel a personal connection to memories or sensations of your own. See gallery, right.
